A majority of the recipes that I have seen from other source have ingredients like cans of soup or dry mixes that I would never use. Other books also have so many exotic ingredients that most home cooks don't have on hand. This book has so many recipes that use real food and ingredients that I either already have on hand or would also use for multiple recipes. The book is organized in a way to easily find what you are interested in cooking. This book has some errors but still a good cookbook with delicious recipes. I want to see pictures but the book has no pictures, I have tried some recipes and it may help you, if yes then encourage me by hitting the thumbs up.
Love this book! Not only does it have great recipes, but it also breaks down the Instant Pot and explains pretty much everything you could want to know about it. The tips and charts are particularly helpful for someone like me who is always trying to convert recipes to the Instant Pot. The book covers all of the functions of the Instant Pot and the recipes range from homemade yogurt to lamb and chickpea stew. This one is the best of them all. Author gives lots of information about using the Instant Pot (my current favorite appliance; saying a lot when there is a microwave oven in the room), as well as a bunch of interesting recipes. Probably the most valuable aspect of the book is the way Alice Newman helps the Instant Pot owner have the confidence to try their own recipes--either old favorites or new ideas. Highly recommended, nice way.
I have three instant pot books but this book is the superstar. The recipes are easy to understand and came out delicious, the down side of this book is It has no pictures, but still a good cookbook with huge amount of recipes. If you want to buy a good instant pot cookbook, then this is the one I’ll recommend to everyone.
