This book help me understand C programming much better.I'm a beginner and I'd like to learn so much about programming.My brother is an IT programmer and he always talk about some system ore languages using C programming.He told me that I must find a book that is easier to read.I consulted him about this book and He told me that this book is worth to read specially for beginners,So I bought it already and I was very surprised about different types of code in this book.My brother once told me that any competent programmer can use any language,just like any driver can learn to operate any vehicle.But,given a choice,we like to operate cars/trucks/planes that we find interesting and compelling on a personal level.C programming would be one step to be a great programmer.I learned a lot from this book and I Highly recommend this book.
While it is a short volume it does provide a very good basic introduction to C. Having been a COBOL

It's a very good book. but still have some mistake about wrong printing that look like not yet proof to issue.
Four stars - very shallow on file handling and the problems with standard input. Otherwise, to this novice, pretty darn good!
